The OFORM abbreviation stands for “online form” and “ONLYOFFICE form” hinting at the intended use of the new feature. An OFORM is a document with some fields of different types that can be filled out by other people. It can be created from scratch or using an existing DOCX file.

The philosophy that lies behind OFORMs is helping users significantly reduce the amount of time they spend on creating standard documents and optimising the process of electronic document management. I like the overall solution a lot. Great Job! There are some limitations I would like to point out that I hope will be addressed in a later release.

  • The most pressing issue is that there is no Date or Signature Field. We produce test reports and need to include a signature and date.
  • I did not see an option to clone a field. When we enter a serial number for a test report we are producing, we would want it to show on every page of the document
  • I am not sure if validation or format of field date (ex. number, text) can be set.
  • It would be good to be able to add a button to show the user filling the form if all required fields have been entered.
