When copy-pasting a shape, it is sometimes impossible to see where it was pasted

In relation with this post, here is also an annoying behaviour:

When I copy/paste the selected shape, the new instance is nowhere to be seen :frowning:
The pasting location look randomy to me.
Why not pasting just by the side of the copied object ?

It seems like the issues are similar.
