When using speaker view in an presentation with quite a lot of animations, the slide shown to the audiance and the slide shown to speaker run completely out of sync. No way to resync except for restarting the presentation.
Might be triggered when text is animated bullet-point-wise. Which is correctly shown in the speaker view - but not to the audiance.
Just realized - this happens to other animations like appearing shapes as well:
- They appear in speaker view as intended
- they do not show up in main presentation window immediatly, but with a delay of a certain amount of animation steps → out of sync.
I am using Version 8.3.2.19 (x64 exe) on Windows as desktop client.
Hello @ProfMat
I’ve tried to reproduce the situation, but, unfortunately, did not manage to. Is it possible to share a sample presentation that could reproduce the situation? Possibly I am missing some points.
I would really like to - if I could …
Your platform tells me: “Sorry, new users can not upload attachments.”
Here is a simple file designed in MS PowerPoint with bullet-pointwise animation (available for 7 days).
Expectation:
- The 4 lines should appear line by line (4 clicks)
- Presenter view and main view should be identical
My observation in OnlyOffice:
- In standard presentation mode the list appears at a glance with 1 click
- In presenter view mode the list appears after 1 click in presenter view, after 4 more clicks finally also in main view. This offset stays unless you restart the presentation.
Unfortunately, I do not see any files in that link. Am I missing something?
Thank you, I was able to get the file. We will check the situation, please await for the feedback.
We’ve reviewed the file and came up to the conclusion that the issue you are facing is not related to the Presenter mode, but to the missing list animations. Unfortunately, this type of animations is not yet supported, but we are working on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
