Owncloud connector: No document history when editing if encryption is enabled?

I’m sorry, I’m not sure we understand each other.

The fact that Onlyoffice displays versions provided by owncloud is fine.

But I can’t understand what’s different on the connector side when encryption is enabled, which would prevent a new version to be created and the last version to be overrided instead.

Is a different API used when encryption is used ?

Admittedly, my php skills are poor and I wasn’t able to get it while glancing at the code :wink:

Regarding forcesave, thanks for the link, but that doesn’t explain what the issue is?
The commit bd15a18403aeecdd197fee4ac6aca1c31b06686c just says “if encryption app is enabled then to disable forcesave”, not why it was done nor does it reference an issue.

We were hoping to use forcesave as a workaround for this history limitation since we do need both history and encryption.

Sorry, but we do not create versions. We take versions from ownCloud side ‘as is’, as they provide them.

As for ForceSave feature, we need some time to re-check the situation. I will update this thread when we have something to share.
