External format template / stylesheet for multiple documents

Hi,

we were wondering, if it is possible to create external format templates for multiple documents. DOCX saves in each docx-file a set of format templates which can be used within the document. We have some kind of dynamic changes in the definition of those format templates for a lot of docx-files.
Is it possible to define central format templates in the document server which can be used in each document, which is edited with the help of the document server? We recognized, that the document server adds some OnlyOffice specific format templates to each document.

Yes, this functionality is supported in several ways:

  1. Editing the editor initialization config – In this case, templates will be available from the Create New menu, where the user can select a template.

  2. Using templates on the DMS side – The user selects a template within the DMS, while our product serves as the document editor in this case.
  3. As a plugin, as shown in the example at the link below:
